What is the Late Work Policy?
If students are going to miss a deadline they will need to contact the instructor via email or during class, to inform him of the issue. Otherwise all work is due by the final posted date on the Google Classroom Topic (most topics last 3-4 weeks and students will have ample time to complete assignments in class or during asynchronous/small group sessions. If work tardiness becomes an issue then there may be limits to the amount of points you can earn per assignment.

How long do I have to complete Absent Work?
Students have one day for each absent day to make up their assignments. So if a student misses one class period they will have an extra period to complete the missed day's assignments.
How do I earn Extra Credit?
While all students who put an honest effort and show up/complete assignments traditionally do fine, there may be a time where you wonder about extra credit. Yes there is "extra credit" take notes on the Edpuzzles/videos we watch in class and keep them in your Graphing Notebook. Students may also earn additional points at various points throughout the year at the teacher's discretion.
When are you Updating the Gradebook?
Due to the volume of students (150+) the grade book will be updated every two weeks as per the school policy. If you look on Studentvue and see a blank that means it still needs to be graded, a zero means you earned no points and there will be a descriptor next to the score indicating why.
If I Email you?
Please allow up to 24hrs. before expecting a reply from the teacher. This way I can completely consider any concerns or investigate any issues that need to be addressed. Also, most issues can be addressed during class, please save email for urgent matters such as informing the teacher of an absence, assignment extensions etc.
